Q: Am I eligible to join Financial Builders?

A: You are eligible for membership if you live, work, or worship in Howard, Tipton, Clinton, Carroll, White, Cass, or Miami county.  Immediate family members of existing Financial Builders members are also eligible. Immediate family includes:

  • Parents
  • Grandparents
  • Spouses
  • Siblings
  • Children (including adopted and stepchildren)
  • Grandchildren 

Q: I’m locked out of Online Banking.  How do I get reactivated?

A: When you click the Forgot Password link (link) and put in your information, your account will be reactivated and a temporary password will be sent to the email address on your account.

Q: What is your routing number?

A: The routing number for all Financial Builders members is 274974768.

Q: How do I order checks?

A: You can order check easily online .

Q: How do I make transfers between accounts?

A: This can be done through online banking. If you are attempting to transfer or view history of other accounts, access must first be set up by member services .

Q: How do I change my address/personal information?

A: Log into online banking, hover over the gear icon in the top right corner, and select personal information.

Q: How do I do a wire transfer?

A: Financial Builders provides a domestic wire transfer service as a convenient way for you to transfer money to another financial institution or receive money from another financial institution (in the U.S.).

Incoming Wires  

For an incoming domestic wire transfer to Financial Builders, simply provide the originating financial institution/sender/payer with the following information:

Outgoing Wires  

To initiate a domestic wire transfer, you can do so in person at Financial Builders office. To process a wire transfer you will need the receiving financial institution's information below and any additional instructions the receiving institution may require.

Q: What do I do if my card has been lost or stolen?

A: For a lost or stolen Visa® credit card, please call 765.455.0500. After hours, please call (800) 289-5939.

For a lost or stolen MasterCard® debit card, please call 765.455.0500.  After hours, please call 1-800-MasterCard (1-800-627-8372).

Q: Why are there two different balances on my checking account?

A: Merchants take a few days to process your transaction so there is a delay before it posts on your account.

Q: What are the limits on my debit card?

A: $500 in cash withdrawals and $2,500 for debit purchases within a 24-hour period.

Q: How do I set up card alerts?

A: To set up card alerts on your debit card, select the Self Service tab in Online Banking and select the type of alerts you would like to receive. To set up alerts on your credit card, register online .

Q: How do I set up direct deposit?

A: The routing number is 274974768. You can find your 8-digit account number on the bottom of a check. It will be your 6-digit account number followed by your 2-digit checking account type.

Q: My loan is pulling the payment from the wrong account. How do I fix this?

Q: How do I look at my credit card rewards?

Q: How do I set up auto-pay?

A: To set up auto-pay on your loan, just let us know which account you would like the money pulled from. To set up auto-pay on your credit card, log into your account online .
