Financial Builders was founded in 1964 for Chrysler Employees. The Credit Union elected seven members to become board members from Chrysler who helped run the credit union in a little storefront building with two office personnel.
In 1978 we built the beautiful building we have today housing 28 employees and serving members who live, work, worship, or attend schools in Howard, Tipton, White, Carroll, Clinton, Cass, or Miami Counties.
Today, Financial Builders is still led by an all-volunteer board of Directors that is elected by the membership, and each member has an equal vote, regardless of how much he or she has on deposit.
