Eligibility

Everyone who lives, works, or worships in Howard, Tipton, White, Carroll, Clinton, Cass, or Miami Counties can join. A deposit of $5 into a savings account is required to become a Financial Builders member, giving you access to all the benefits of membership! 

How to Join

It's easy to become a Financial Builders FCU member and start saving time and money.

Start by opening a Traditional Savings account online or by coming into one of our branches.

When you visit our office to open your account, please remember to bring your U.S. Government-issued identification. If you'd like to add someone to your account, the joint member would also need to bring their U.S. Government-issued identification to our office.

Bring an ID

You may use any of these as your primary U.S. Government-issued identification:

  • Permanent U.S. state-issued driver's license
  • Permanent U.S. state-issued ID card
  • U.S. Passport
  • U.S. Resident Alien Card
  • U.S. Permanent Resident Card

If you are a minor (under 18 years of age), you may bring one form of primary ID (listed above) OR one of these:

  • Social Security card (opening a savings account)
  • School picture ID (opening a savings account under age 18 or a checking account ages 13­–15)
  • U.S. Military Dependent ID (opening a savings under age 18 or a checking account ages 13–15)
