“We signed up for the challenge because we want to learn to be smart with our money, prepare for college, and get the most out of our money.  There was no financial up bringing in our family we just did not talk about it at home.   We want to break the mold and teach financial education to our children.
Our goal is to have savings.   We used build up a cushion in savings, life happens and our money would be gone.  We want to find a way to keep a savings.   After meeting with our coach we now have a budget we use the envelope system which works for us.  We want to be debt free, so far,  we have paid off 3 credit cards in just 2 months.  We have found money everywhere in order to save, we just were not aware.  We are paying cash now for everything.    We now have a vacation account, Christmas  savings and regular savings.
